The details

• It's the same math as the main quiz: the Social Security 2023 life table, adjusted for state, smoking, exercise, and body size. Here's how it works.
• Your readers' answers are worked out inside their own browsers. They aren't sent to us, to you, or to anyone else, and the frame sets no cookies.
• Results for people 80 and older, or with under five years of median life left, skip the jokes and show a note about talking to a doctor, with the 988 line.
• The frame links back to whenwillicroak.com. Please leave that link in place.
• We count how many times the frame is loaded, with the same cookie-free analytics as the rest of the site, and nothing about the page that holds it beyond what any web request carries.
• It's for entertainment and education. Please don't present it as medical, insurance, or financial advice.
